Summer Ice Opportunities
We are working on a few summer ice opportunities for skaters through our club and sharing what other clubs are offering! We do not have ice in Mason City starting May 1, 2026, and ending September 1, 2026.
Summer Skating Options
NIFSC has contracted ice with the City of Albert Lea on Thursday evenings this summer. Time will be from 6:15-8:15 pm each week. Open practice ice & lessons will be available for everyone who is interested.

Ames Opportunities
Ames FSC typically has summer skating options for both June and July. They typically have both a Learn to Skate option with weekly lessons and a club-level summer camp with multiple days per week. Cost is paid directly to Ames FSC.
Ames Ice Arena will host Figure Freestyle ice throughout the summer. This is an open (public) skate for Figure Skaters. This is open to any figure skater, and you can practice your testing, programs, & skills as well as potentially take lessons. Cost is paid to the arena per use. Information regarding both Ames ice skating options will be shared once it is released.
