What should my child wear for the clinic? Participants should wear comfortable clothing. Layers are best. The arena is temperature controlled but still chilly. Things like leggings with tights underneath, t-shirt with a sweatshirt or jacket over. Please refrain from wearing thick socks as they do not work well with the skates. It is best to wear tights or thinner dress type sock.

When is the Performance? All participants will be learning a simple program showcasing the skills they’ve learned during the clinic. This will be performed during the second act of NIFSC’s annual Spring Showcase

What time should we arrive for the performance? Participants should arrive to the arena at 4:15pm. They will check in and be seated with the group. Parents/other spectators can then find their seats and enjoy the performance. The clinic participants will be monitored during the performance by one of our volunteers and seated in a reserved section. They will be able to watch the first and third acts of the show and perform during the second act.

What is the Spring Showcase? The Spring Showcase is our club’s annual major fundraiser and an opportunity for skaters to show off what they’ve learned throughout the season. We have performances by club members as young as 3 years – adults with a wide range of skills! We have special performances by some of the NIFSC Alumni, Dads, and of course our guest skater, Wren Warne-Jacobson. This year’s theme is “Viva Ice Vegas” a showcase of Vegas themed performances.

Is there admission charged? Yes. Tickets to the show are $12/seat. All seats are reserved. We are offering special pricing to club participant families, if purchased when registering. Ticket price will be $10 at this time only. NIFSC will have your pre-purchased tickets available to pick up at the clinic. Seats are reserved so please be mindful of this when ordering. We may not be able to reserve additional seats in your area after the selection is made.
